How we handle the information you share with us.
Who we are
This website (www.sbngt.com) is operated by S B N General Trading L.L.C., Unit M 010, Al Habtoor Naif Building, Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“SBN”, “we”, “us”). SBN WaterTech is our water and wastewater equipment division. You can contact us about this policy at karim@sbngt.com.
Information we collect
This website does not have user accounts and does not store the information you type into it. When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email — including through the enquiry form, which opens a message in your own WhatsApp or email app — we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, company, contact details and project information.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of access) for security and to keep the website running. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.
How we use it
- to answer your enquiry and provide quotations, datasheets and technical information;
- to coordinate with the relevant manufacturer when your enquiry concerns their equipment;
- to arrange meetings, for example at exhibitions such as WETEX;
- to keep records of our business correspondence as required by UAE law.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated profiling.
Sharing
We may share your enquiry details with the manufacturer whose products you ask about (Hyorim E&I, Samjin E&I, Dooch or FLUEN) so that they can support the technical response, and with service providers such as our email and hosting providers. We share information with authorities only where the law requires it.
Cookies and third-party content
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not use analytics services. The map on the Contact page is embedded from Google Maps; when it loads, Google may set its own cookies and process your IP address under Google’s privacy policy. Links to WhatsApp open the WhatsApp service, which is governed by its own terms.
Retention and security
We keep business correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete it. Email and messaging are protected by the security measures of the respective service providers; this website is served over HTTPS where supported by your browser.
Your rights
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it. Write to karim@sbngt.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Processing of personal data in the UAE is governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
